i figured he'd be fine. haven't heard anything bad about from kate when she calls me at all hours of the night.

Most of her talk with us is a different sort of gossip, and then talking about people she's clearly attracted to.

See, now that is gossip I would LOVE to hear about. Carol's always the talk of court and I'm sure her sister would love the details second hand.

Tidbits that could get Lauri-Ell texting her and giving Billy and I some time alone are valuable.

still. i'm not sure. you know me, gossip talk isn't really my kind of talk.

It's more that she takes her duties very seriously.

oh. she must get that from her sister.

From the research I've been doing it seems like they both get it from their mother, even more so than Lauri-Ell gets from her father.

But it can be annoying. Billy's not a shapeshifter so he can't hide lack of patience with court time nearly as well as I can.

i'll take your word for it. must be all that kree blood floating around, 'cause i definitely have none of that.

are you guys able to call in a sick day? or is that not possible?

I imagine so. My Kree blood is supposed to be special too.

a lot of responsibility, though, huh?

Skrull aren't all that physically strong, so that's something that is special, especially since I'm strong for a Kree.
